Account risk

Read this beforeyou connectan account.

Warmr automates activity on your LinkedIn account. That carries real risk to the account, and we would rather you read it here than learn it later.

  1. 01

    LinkedIn doesn’t allow it.

Section 8.2 of LinkedIn’s User Agreement prohibits using bots or other unauthorized automated methods to add contacts, send messages, or like and comment on posts. Warmr does those things from your account on your behalf.

  2. 02

LinkedIn can restrict or close the account.

LinkedIn can limit, suspend or permanently close an account at its discretion, and its own help pages warn that members who use automation tools risk restriction.

  3. 03

    Nobody can make this safe.

Limits, a slow start for new accounts and optional scheduling reduce how much Warmr does. They don’t remove the risk, and LinkedIn publishes no “safe” numbers. Be wary of any tool that says otherwise.

  4. 04

The account is yours, and so is the exposure.

We can’t recover a restricted account, appeal on your behalf, or compensate you for one.

  5. 05

You answer for who you contact.

Consent, data-protection and opt-out obligations toward the people you message are yours, along with following LinkedIn’s terms and the law that applies to you.

What Warmr does

  • Asks you to read and acknowledge this before you connect an account, and records that you did.
  • Enforces its own daily ceilings for each connected account: up to 25 connection requests a day and 85 a week, and 40 messages a day.
  • Starts newer accounts at a fraction of those limits and ramps up over about four weeks.
  • Offers business-hours scheduling. It is off until you switch it on.

What we don’t promise

  • That your account won’t be restricted.
  • That our limits keep you under any LinkedIn threshold. LinkedIn doesn’t publish one.
  • Replies, meetings or revenue.
  • Recovery of, or compensation for, a restricted account.
  • Approval from LinkedIn. Warmr is independent and not affiliated with LinkedIn.

If you go ahead

  • Use an account you could afford to lose before one your business depends on.
  • Start slowly. A new or dormant account suddenly sending volume is the clearest signal there is.
  • Keep the limits low.
  • If LinkedIn shows you a warning, stop using automation on that account.
